ACTION INGREDIENTS:

Mandelic Acid 10%: Derived from bitter almonds, Mandelic Acid is found to visibly help a wide range of skin conditions including hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and acne. Due to its larger molecular structure, this alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) penetrates into the skin at a slower rate than glycolic acid for thorough exfoliation, deep skin remodeling and collagen formation at the dermal level, all with less irritation commonly associated with other AHAs.

Lactic Acid 5%: Derived from sour milk and fermented fruits and vegetables, the benefits of this AHA are three-fold: Lactic Acid gently exfoliates the skin’s surface, penetrates deeply to promote skin remodeling and collagen formation, and further acts as a humectant to increase water content of the epidermis. Together, these actions simultaneously (1) smooth the skin’s surface by exfoliating and initiating cell turnover, (2) create healthy, younger skin through cell differentiation and collagen formation, and (3) plump up the skin’s barrier through increased collage formation for increased hydration and youthful pliability.
